Job Description
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver English lessons for Primary (Class I‑V) as per the school curriculum, ensuring clarity of language concepts and active student participation. Prepare teaching aids, worksheets and reading materials that align with learning objectives and monitor student progress through regular observations.
Assess students’ oral and written English skills, provide constructive feedback and maintain records of performance. Collaborate with senior teachers to align teaching strategies and contribute to periodic curriculum reviews.
Eligibility
Graduate degree in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. Candidates who have cleared TET/CTET will be given preference.
Experience
Minimum three years of full‑time teaching experience in an English classroom at the primary level.
Salary & Employment
Full‑time position with a monthly remuneration of Rs.18,000 – Rs.30,000, payable as per school policy. The role is based at Shyamsundar Holy Family School, Raina I, Purba Bardhaman, West Bengal.
