Role Summary
Green Valley Academy, a progressive school in Chopra, Uttar Dinajpur, seeks a dedicated and technology-savvy TGT Biology Teacher to join our team. As a Biology teacher at our school, you will be responsible for teaching Biology to students of classes 6-8 using modern tools and blended learning methods.
How You Will Teach
As a Biology teacher at Green Valley Academy, you will be expected to use smart boards, Google Classroom, and our Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver engaging and interactive lessons. You will use online resources and multimedia content to make learning Biology fun and accessible to all students.
What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver Biology lessons to classes 6-8 using a range of teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities.
- Use technology to create engaging and interactive lessons, including online quizzes, games, and multimedia content.
- Use smart boards to create and present lessons, and to facilitate student participation and engagement.
- Use our LMS to post lessons, assignments, and resources for students to access outside of class.
- Use Google Classroom to communicate with students and parents, and to assign and track student work.
- Use online resources, including educational websites and apps, to supplement lessons and provide additional learning opportunities for students.
- Use multimedia content, including videos, images, and audio recordings, to support student learning and engagement.
- Develop and implement assessments to evaluate student learning and progress.
- Use data and feedback from assessments to inform teaching and improve student outcomes.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you will need to hold a Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related subject, and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree. You will also need to have at least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting.
Preferred Skills
- Digital literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Experience with online teaching tools, including Learning Management Systems and educational apps.
- Ability to use technology to engage and support student learning.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is Rs.24,000 - Rs.35,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications. You will also be entitled to a range of benefits, including medical insurance and paid leave.
