The teacher will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging lesson plans that align with the CBSE curriculum. This includes covering topics such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus basics, and real-world applications of mathematical concepts. The role also involves assessing student progress through regular assignments, quizzes, and exams, while providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
In addition to classroom instruction, the teacher will collaborate with other subject teachers to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities. They will also participate in school events, workshops, and teacher training sessions to enhance pedagogical practices. A strong command of mathematics and an ability to simplify complex ideas for diverse learners are essential.
The ideal candidate holds a postgraduate degree in Mathematics or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Four years of teaching experience, preferably in secondary or senior secondary education, is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly beneficial for career growth within the school.
