TGT Physical Education Teacher Position at Gurukul Public School, Dinajpur

Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily physical education sessions, ensuring activities are age-appropriate and inclusive. Demonstrate techniques in sports like basketball, cricket, athletics, and team games to build fundamental skills. Monitor students’ participation, attendance, and progress during drills and competitions. Maintain a safe and organized sports facility, including equipment, changing areas, and outdoor spaces.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Design and implement termly fitness programs that combine strength training, flexibility exercises, and cardiovascular workouts. Collaborate with the school’s health committee to promote wellness initiatives, such as nutrition workshops or awareness campaigns. Prepare lesson plans that integrate physical education with academic subjects, like health education or science. Attend school meetings to discuss PE curriculum updates and student performance trends.
Periodic Responsibilities
Organize inter-house sports events, tournaments, and school-level competitions to encourage team spirit and fair play. Conduct regular fitness assessments and track student performance to identify areas for improvement. Participate in professional development workshops or training sessions to stay updated on sports science and teaching methodologies.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Physical Education or a related field. Minimum 4 years of teaching experience, preferably in Physical Education, is required. A TET or CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory. Strong knowledge of sports rules, safety protocols, and adaptive physical education techniques is essential.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 40,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
