About International Delhi Public School | Cherukupalli

Stepping into International Delhi Public School, Cherukupalli feels like entering a place where the quiet of the Bapatla countryside meets the buzz of a modern learning hub. The campus stretches over five acres of well‑kept grounds, and every classroom is air‑conditioned and wired for digital teaching. From the moment you walk past the library’s rows of 5,000 books to the robotics lab where students tinker with sensors, you sense a commitment to giving every child the tools they need to think beyond the textbook. The school’s schedule is built around a blend of CBSE syllabus and the extra‑curricular thrust of IIT/NEET coaching, so a typical day may start with a math lesson, shift to a hands‑on STEAM activity, and end with a quiet reading period in the library.

The students at IDPS are a mix of day scholars from Cherukupalli and surrounding villages and boarders who live in the newly built hostel. They are curious, often eager to try out the latest coding challenge or to join the NCC drills that happen on the sports field each morning. Because the school welcomes learners from Nursery all the way to Grade XII, you’ll find a spectrum of abilities and interests, which means you get to design lessons that can be stretched for a bright ten‑year‑old or deepened for a senior preparing for competitive exams. The atmosphere is competitive but supportive; peers encourage each other, and teachers are expected to act as mentors as much as instructors.

For a teacher, the day is a balance of structured teaching and flexible creativity. Mornings begin with a brief faculty huddle where the head of department shares any updates from the school leadership—Mr. PYK Reddy’s vision of integrating technology with traditional learning is always a reference point. After the first period, you might find yourself guiding a robotics club, supervising a cricket practice, or meeting a small group of students who need extra help with physics concepts that feed into their NEET preparation. The school’s digital‑first approach means you have a smart board and a learning management system at your fingertips, so grading, feedback and resource sharing happen in real time.

What makes IDPS Cherukupalli stand out for a teacher is the freedom to experiment within a well‑structured framework. The management, through the Sri Gayatri Academy for Technical Education, encourages you to bring your own expertise into the classroom, whether that means introducing a new science experiment, collaborating on an interdisciplinary project, or leading a community outreach program that ties into the NCC’s character
