A seasoned History teacher will join Presidency Sr Sec School | Cachar to deliver engaging lessons to senior secondary students. The role demands a dynamic educator who can inspire critical thinking about India’s past and global contexts.
- Design and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with state curriculum for classes 11 and 12.
- Assess student performance through exams, projects, and formative assessments.
- Integrate modern teaching aids and digital resources to enhance learning outcomes.
- Mentor and guide students in preparing for board examinations and competitive exams.
- Participate in school committees, curriculum reviews, and extracurricular history activities.
- Maintain accurate attendance, attendance, and report cards while communicating progress to parents.
A postgraduate degree in History is mandatory, complemented by a B.Ed or D.El.Ed for teaching eligibility. The candidate should possess at least four years of teaching experience and be familiar with contemporary pedagogical practices.
Salary ranges from Rs.40,000 to Rs.50,000 per month; the position is based in Sichar, Cachar, Assam.
