Organize hands-on lab sessions using programming languages like C, C++, Java, or Python. Encourage students to develop efficient algorithms and analyse their time and space complexity. Use modern teaching aids and e-learning platforms to support interactive learning.
Facilitate student projects, internships, and industry interactions related to Data Structures applications. Participate in curriculum development and syllabus revision as per academic council directives. Contribute to the design of elective courses in advanced data structures and algorithm analysis.
Master Level Teaching
Teach specialized Data Structures courses at the master’s level, including Advanced Data Structures, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, and Computational Complexity. Supervise M.Sc. and M.Tech. dissertations in areas such as graph algorithms, dynamic programming, and parallel data structures.
Guide postgraduate students in research-oriented projects focused on optimization and scalability of data structures. Encourage publication of findings in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Collaborate with faculty across departments for interdisciplinary applications of Data Structures.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks. A Ph.D. in Data Structures or a closely related area is mandatory for consideration. NET/SLET qualified candidates may also apply if Ph.D. is not completed, as per UGC norms.
Prior teaching or research experience in Data Structures for at least one year is required. Demonstrated ability through publications in peer-reviewed journals or conference papers in the field will be preferred.
