What You Will Do
Teach core and elective courses in Deep Learning for B.Tech and M.Tech programs at The Assam Royal Global University. Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations as per university guidelines.
Prepare and update course materials including lecture notes, lab manuals, and reference lists for Deep Learning subjects. Conduct tutorials on frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras for hands-on learning. Guide students in capstone projects, internships, and research initiatives in Deep Learning.
Organize workshops, seminars, and guest lectures by industry experts in AI and machine learning. Collaborate with departmental faculty to develop interdisciplinary projects involving Deep Learning applications. Participate in curriculum development and accreditation processes for engineering programs.
Master Level Teaching
At the master’s level, teach specialized courses such as Advanced Neural Networks, Reinforcement Learning, and Natural Language Processing. Supervise M.Tech dissertations and guide students in publishing research findings in peer-reviewed journals. Mentor students in applying Deep Learning to real-world problems in healthcare, finance, and robotics.
Encourage students to participate in national and international conferences and competitions. Facilitate industry-academia collaborations for live projects and internships in Deep Learning. Support the university’s vision of fostering innovation through applied research in AI technologies.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field with at least 55% marks from a recognized university. NET/SLET qualified candidates will be preferred if Ph.D. is not completed. Minimum 1 year of teaching or research experience in Deep Learning is required.
A strong publication record in Scopus/WoS indexed journals related to Deep Learning is essential. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch is mandatory. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is desirable.

Familiarity with CUDA programming and GPU computing for Deep Learning applications is a plus. Experience in guiding undergraduate and postgraduate projects in AI/ML is preferred. Ability to teach both theoretical concepts and practical implementations of Deep Learning algorithms.
