About This Role
The Assam Royal Global University invites applications for the post of ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR - Data Structures in the Computer Science Department. This is a full-time position for a highly qualified and experienced professional. The ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR Vacancy in Assam will be responsible for teaching, research, and administrative duties.
What You Will Do
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Data Structures to students of The Assam Royal Global University.
- Develop and deliver new courses in Data Structures, incorporating the latest trends and technologies.
- Guide research projects and supervise postgraduate students working on Data Structures.
- Conduct research in Data Structures and publish papers in peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in departmental activities, such as seminars, workshops, and conferences.
- Collaborate with faculty members from other departments on interdisciplinary research projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and alumni.
- Participate in curriculum development and review.
Master Level Teaching
- Teach master level courses in Data Structures, such as Advanced Data Structures, Algorithms, and Data Mining.
- Guide students in their research projects, providing feedback and guidance on their work.
- Develop and deliver new courses in Data Structures, incorporating the latest trends and technologies.
Eligibility Criteria
- A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks.
- NET/SLET qualification in Computer Science or a related field.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals in the area of Data Structures.
Learning and Development
- The candidate is expected to maintain an API score of 3.0 or above for promotion.
- Regular participation in conferences, seminars, and workshops is expected.
- The candidate is expected to contribute to the development of the department and the university.
