Job Overview
The Assam Royal Global University, Guhwati, invites applications for the position of Professor in Big Data Analytics. The selected candidate will be part of our faculty team in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Big Data Analytics, including data mining, machine learning, and data visualization.
2. Develop and deliver curriculum for Big Data Analytics courses, aligning with UGC norms and The Assam Royal Global University's academic standards.
3. Guide students in research projects, internships, and thesis work in Big Data Analytics.
4. Foster industry partnerships and collaborations for research and projects in Big Data Analytics.
5. Publish papers in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences in the area of Big Data Analytics.
6. Participate in curriculum development and academic planning for the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
7. Collaborate with other faculty members in research and academic activities.
8. Contribute to The Assam Royal Global University's initiatives in research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
Master Level Teaching
As a Professor in Big Data Analytics, you will teach master level courses, including Big Data Analytics, Data Mining, and Business Intelligence. You will also guide students in project work and research projects, helping them develop practical skills in Big Data Analytics.
Who Can Apply
The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks. Candidates with NET/SLET or publications in peer-reviewed journals will be given preference. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching and research in Big Data Analytics.
Learning and Development
The Assam Royal Global University follows UGC regulations for career advancement and promotion. The selected candidate will be required to maintain an API score of 3.0 and above to be eligible for promotion and career advancement.
