Day-to-Day Duties
The PROFESSOR will be responsible for the following day-to-day duties:
1. Teaching Operating Systems courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
2. Developing and delivering course materials, including syllabi, lectures, and assignments.
3. Conducting tutorials and lab sessions to support students' learning.
4. Assessing student performance through evaluations, quizzes, and exams.
5. Providing feedback to students on their performance and progress.
6. Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
7. Collaborating with other faculty members to develop and implement curriculum changes.
8. Participating in departmental and University-wide committees and initiatives.
Postgraduate Students
The PROFESSOR will be expected to supervise and guide postgraduate students in their research projects, including:
1. Guiding students in their research projects and helping them to develop their research skills.
2. Providing feedback and guidance on research proposals, drafts, and final theses.
3. Assisting students in developing their research skills, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
4. Collaborating with other faculty members to develop and implement postgraduate research programs.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the position, the candidate must have:
1. A Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks.
2. A valid UGC-NET/SLET or equivalent qualification.
3. A strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
4. A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at the postgraduate level.
5. A strong understanding of Operating Systems and its applications.
