Role Summary
The Assam Royal Global University invites applications for a full-time PROFESSOR position in Generative Ai. The successful candidate will be part of the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, responsible for teaching, research, and mentoring students. Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Generative Ai, including theory and practical classes.
- Design and develop new courses and curricula for the undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
- Supervise and guide postgraduate research projects and dissertations.
- Conduct research in Generative Ai and publish papers in peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in academic and administrative activities, including committee meetings and workshops.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Generative Ai and its applications.
Postgraduate Students
The selected candidate will be responsible for guiding postgraduate students in master-level courses and research projects. As a PROFESSOR, you will mentor and advise students on their research topics, provide feedback on their progress, and support them in achieving their academic goals. You will also contribute to the development of new postgraduate programs and courses in Generative Ai.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, the candidate must have a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks. Additionally, the candidate must have a valid NET/SLET score or equivalent as per UGC norms. A strong research record, with publications in peer-reviewed journals, is essential for this position. The candidate should also have at least 5 years of teaching experience at the university level.
