Daily Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons covering core Business Studies topics like market analysis, business ethics, and basic accounting principles. Prepare interactive class activities, including case studies and group discussions, to enhance student participation. Maintain a structured classroom environment by monitoring student behavior and addressing academic concerns promptly. Ensure all teaching materials, such as handouts and visual aids, are organized and easily accessible for daily use.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum while incorporating modern teaching techniques. Collaborate with other subject teachers to create interdisciplinary projects that connect Business Studies with real-world scenarios. Participate in weekly faculty meetings to discuss teaching strategies and student progress. Assess student performance through continuous evaluation, including quizzes, projects, and practical demonstrations.
Periodic Responsibilities
Attend termly review meetings to discuss student performance and adjust teaching methods as needed. Organize guest lectures or workshops with local business professionals to provide students with industry insights. Prepare annual progress reports summarizing student achievements and areas for improvement.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a graduate degree in Business Studies or a related field. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification with a preference for TET/CTET certification. Minimum three years of teaching experience, preferably in Business Studies or a similar subject. Strong communication skills and a passion for fostering entrepreneurial spirit in students.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of Rs.14,000 - Rs.25,000 for this full-time position. The role is based in Tinsukia, Assam, with opportunities for professional growth within the school’s academic framework.
