About This Role
The Divine Child Junior School in Tekari, Gaya is looking for an NTT Hindi Teacher to join its early years team. Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and conduct age-appropriate Hindi language sessions for nursery and LKG/UKG classes.
2. Use songs, rhymes, and visual aids to teach Hindi alphabets and basic words.
3. Assess student progress through informal observations and simple exercises.
4. Prepare monthly reports on student participation and learning milestones.
5. Collaborate with the senior Hindi teacher to align teaching methods with school standards.
6. Organize Hindi Diwas celebrations and storytelling sessions for young learners.
7. Maintain a clean and child-friendly classroom environment.
8. Attend weekly staff meetings and contribute to school-wide Hindi initiatives.
9. Support the school’s vision of building strong language foundations in early childhood.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
Graduation in any discipline
B.Ed or D.El.Ed with Hindi as a teaching subject
Minimum 3 years of experience teaching Hindi to nursery or kindergarten students
Familiarity with early childhood education principles
Willingness to work in Tekari, Gaya
Good to Have
CTET or TET certification
Experience in a CBSE-affiliated school
Training in phonics or Montessori methods
Knowledge of local Hindi dialects used in Bihar
Previous experience in a similar NTT role
