Role Summary
The PRT Social Science Teacher will be responsible for teaching Social Science to students at Kumar Progressive School in Lakhisarai, Bihar. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning, and be able to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
What You Will Do
1. Teach Social Science to students from classes 6 to 8
2. Prepare and deliver lesson plans to meet the needs of students
3. Assess student progress and provide feedback to students
4. Develop and implement engaging and interactive teaching methods
5. Use digital resources and technology to enhance teaching and learning
6. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement curriculum
7. Support students with special needs
8. Participate in school events and activities
9. Maintain accurate records of student progress
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- CTET or TET certification (preferable)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Basic computer skills
Good to Have:
- Experience of teaching Social Science
- Knowledge of curriculum and pedagogy
- Ability to use digital resources and technology
- Fluency in local language (Bhojpuri or Maithili)
