Role Summary
We invite applications for a TGT Social Science Teacher position at Garvi Grant Global School in Surajgarha, Lakhisarai, Bihar. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Social Science to students in classes 6-10.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Prepare and deliver Social Science lessons to students in classes 6-10.
2. Develop and implement engaging and interactive lesson plans.
3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
4. Maintain accurate records of student grades and progress.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement curriculum.
6. Supervise students during recess and break periods.
7. Attend staff meetings and contribute to school development.
8. Participate in extracurricular activities and events.
9. Conduct parent-teacher meetings and communicate with parents.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- Postgraduate degree in Social Science (M.A. or M.Sc.).
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree.
- Strong knowledge of Social Science curriculum and pedagogy.
Good to Have:
- Experience teaching Social Science in a school setting.
- Familiarity with TET or CTET examinations.
Preferred Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with students of different abilities and ages.
- Familiarity with educational technology and digital tools.
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative lesson plans.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
