About This Role
K D M Public School Madhubani is looking for a Music Teacher for its Laukaha campus. This is a full-time, leadership role focused on shaping the school’s music programme and guiding young performers. The position involves administrative oversight of music events, coordination with local cultural groups in Madhubani, and maintaining instruments and resources.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and organise weekly music sessions across grades 1 to 12 for Laukaha and Madhubani zones.
2. Lead school choirs, instrumental groups, and annual cultural programmes in coordination with K D M Public School Madhubani.
3. Manage the school’s music inventory including instruments, sound systems, and costumes stored at the Madhubani campus.
4. Collaborate with village-level artists in Laukaha for local festival performances and school representation.
5. Document student progress and prepare quarterly performance reports for the principal.
6. Ensure safe storage of instruments and compliance with fire safety norms at the Laukaha facility.
7. Represent the school in inter-school music competitions across Bihar and submit travel reimbursement claims.
8. Organise an annual “Sangeet Utsav” showcasing student talent from both Madhubani and Laukaha branches.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred. Prior experience in school administration or event coordination is an advantage. Basic computer skills for report writing and inventory tracking are necessary.
