PRT Dance Teacher Position at Jeevan Deep Public School, Nawada
Jeevan Deep Public School in Nawada seeks a dedicated PRT Dance Teacher to inspire students with creative movement and cultural arts. This full-time role involves teaching dance fundamentals, fostering artistic expression, and maintaining a structured yet engaging curriculum. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for traditional and contemporary dance forms to our school community.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach dance classes, including classical, folk, and modern styles, ensuring age-appropriate techniques and safety.
2. Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with school syllabi, incorporating cultural heritage and modern dance trends.
3. Assess students’ progress through practical evaluations and encourage participation in school events like festivals and performances.
4. Collaborate with the principal and other teachers to integrate dance activities into broader school programs, such as extracurricular clubs or inter-house competitions.
5. Maintain a clean, organized dance studio or designated space, ensuring proper equipment and resources are available.
6. Engage with parents through regular updates, workshops, or parent-teacher meetings to share dance achievements and development areas.
7. Participate in school functions, including dance performances, to showcase students’ talents and strengthen community ties.
8. Administer discipline and encourage a positive, inclusive environment where all students feel motivated to learn and perform.
To qualify, a graduate degree is required, with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred. Three years of teaching experience in dance or related arts is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory for this role, it will be highly valued. The salary for this position is Rs.18,000 to Rs.35,000 per month, with Nawada, Bihar, as the location.
