Responsibilities

Develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate traditional Bihar dance forms like Jhumar and Chhau, while also introducing modern styles to broaden cultural exposure. Collaborate with the arts department to organize school events like dance festivals, cultural fairs, and inter-school competitions. Maintain a safe and inclusive learning space, adapting teaching methods to accommodate students with varying skill levels. Act as a bridge between students and parents, sharing progress and encouraging participation in dance activities.
Qualifications
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a strong foundation in dance pedagogy. A graduate degree in dance or related arts is preferred. Possession of TET/CTET certification will be an added advantage, though not mandatory for this role.
Experience
Proven experience of at least two years in teaching dance to school-age children, preferably in a formal educational setting. Familiarity with curriculum-based learning and assessment methods is essential. Experience in creating student-centric dance programs or leading extracurricular activities is a plus.
Salary and Employment Type
