Job Title
PGT History Teacher
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver comprehensive History lessons for classes IX to XII in accordance with CBSE guidelines at Delhi Public School, Dhamtari. Prepare engaging teaching aids, project-based activities and periodic assessments to deepen students’ understanding of Indian and World History. Conduct remedial sessions, supervise history projects and guide students for inter‑school competitions. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and co‑curricular activities as per school policy. Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum reviews and school events, contributing to the overall academic environment.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in History with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Preference given to candidates holding TET/CTET certification. Must possess a clear All India Teacher Eligibility Test (AITET) status.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of full‑time teaching experience in a recognized school setting, preferably handling senior secondary classes. Demonstrated ability to manage classroom dynamics and foster a love for historical inquiry.
Salary
Rs.25,000 - Rs.42,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
