PRT Computer Science Teacher Job in Central Delhi, Delhi | School Recruitment
Springdales School | Pusa Road seeks an enthusiastic PRT Computer Science Teacher to join their dedicated team in teaching foundational and advanced computer science concepts. This role is ideal for someone passionate about shaping young minds with hands-on coding, problem-solving skills, and digital literacy. The position offers a dynamic environment where innovation meets traditional teaching methods, especially in Delhi Cantt and Central Delhi.
Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging computer science lessons tailored to students' learning stages, ensuring interactive and practical sessions. Prepare and deliver classroom activities, including coding exercises, project-based learning, and real-world applications of technology. Monitor student progress in computer science subjects and provide timely feedback to help them grasp concepts effectively. Maintain a safe and organized classroom space with necessary equipment, such as computers, software, and teaching aids.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum while incorporating modern teaching techniques to keep students engaged. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate computer science into interdisciplinary projects, fostering cross-subject learning. Attend school meetings, workshops, and training sessions to stay updated on educational trends and teaching methodologies. Ensure students adhere to cyber safety guidelines and responsible digital behavior.
Periodic Responsibilities
Participate in termly assessments and evaluations to assess student performance in computer science, adjusting teaching strategies as needed. Organize extracurricular activities, such as coding clubs, robotics competitions, or tech workshops, to encourage hands-on learning outside the classroom. Contribute to school initiatives like digital literacy campaigns or partnerships with tech companies to enhance students’ exposure to emerging technologies.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification to qualify for the PRT position. Experience teaching computer science to students at the secondary level is highly preferred. Familiarity with educational technology tools and platforms is a bonus. A TET/CTET certificate is an added advantage but not mandatory.
Salary and Location
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.18,000 - Rs.30,000 per month, along with a conducive work environment in Springdales School | Pusa Road, located in Central Delhi.
