About This Role
Rishabh Public School, a leading educational institution in Mayur Vihar, East Delhi, Delhi, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced PRT Dance Teacher to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Dance to students from 1st to 5th standard. The role involves creating a fun and engaging learning environment that stimulates students' interest in Dance.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Plan and deliver Dance lessons to students from 1st to 5th standard.
2. Create engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of all learners.
3. Develop and implement Dance curriculum that aligns with the school's objectives.
4. Conduct regular assessments to evaluate students' progress and understanding.
5. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.
6. Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a cohesive and well-rounded curriculum.
7. Participate in school events, concerts, and performances.
8. Develop and implement strategies to promote student engagement and participation.
9. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- Post-graduate degree in Dance or related field
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- 3 years of experience in teaching Dance to primary school students
- Fluency in Hindi and English
Good to Have:
- NET or SET in Dance
- M.Ed degree
- Experience in teaching Dance to students with special needs
- Knowledge of Carnatic or Hindustani music
