JOB NOTIFICATION: PRIMARY TEACHER (ENGLISH)

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are currently inviting applications for the post of PRT English (Primary Teacher). The successful candidate will be responsible for nurturing the linguistic and creative potential of students in the primary wing, spanning Classes I to V. We are looking for a scholar who holds a Post Graduate degree in English and brings at least 2 years of teaching experience from a recognized institution. Please note that a TET qualification is not a mandatory requirement for this specific recruitment drive.

PRIMARY DUTIES
Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans in alignment with the school curriculum.
Maintain the teacher diary and student anecdotal records with diligence.
Conduct regular classroom assessments, periodic tests, and evaluate answer scripts.
Perform meticulous notebook correction and provide constructive feedback to pupils.
Undertake administrative responsibilities such as morning assembly supervision and house duties.
Engage in Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) meetings to discuss child progress and development.
Organize co-curricular activities including elocution, recitation, and storytelling competitions.

PEDAGOGY STYLE
The institution emphasizes a child-centric, activity-based learning approach. The English department focuses on the LSRW (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing) framework. We expect teachers to use a blend of the communicative approach and phonetics-based instruction. The teacher must be adept at using audio-visual aids and integrating value-based education within the literary curriculum to ensure a well-rounded understanding of the language.

SALARY AND COMPENSATION
