PRT Yoga Teacher Job in East Delhi, Delhi
About This Role
This Yoga Teacher position at a Vivekanand International Sr. Sec. School school in Mayur Vihar, East Delhi, Delhi is now accepting applications. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Yoga teacher to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Yoga to students from 1st to 5th standard.
What You Will Do
1. Plan, implement, and evaluate Yoga lessons for students from 1st to 5th standard.
2. Create engaging and interactive Yoga sessions that promote physical and mental well-being.
3. Use a variety of teaching methods, including demonstrations, storytelling, and interactive learning activities.
4. Use worksheets and other materials to assess student understanding and progress.
5. Develop and maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment.
6. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth learning experience.
7. Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement a comprehensive Yoga program.
8. Evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
9. Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date on best practices in Yoga education.
Eligibility
Must Have:
- Post-graduate degree in Yoga Education or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in teaching Yoga in a school setting.
- Valid B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree.
- CTET or TET certification is not required for this position.
Good to Have:
- NET or SET certification in a related field.
- M.Ed. or M.A. in a related field.
- Experience in teaching students with special needs.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
