Role Summary
Abhinav Global School requires an experienced Aerobics Coach to lead our Physical Education department, working closely with the Principal and other school administrators.
Reporting to the Principal, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the school's Physical Education program, ensuring it aligns with the school's vision and objectives.
The Aerobics Coach will also be a key member of the school's leadership team, contributing to decision-making processes and helping shape the school's overall strategy.
Day-to-Day Duties
As a key member of the school's leadership team, the Aerobics Coach will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing Physical Education programs for students of all ages, promoting a culture of physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
- Recruiting, training, and supervising Physical Education staff, ensuring they meet the school's high standards.
- Maintaining and developing relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community, ensuring they are informed and engaged with the school's Physical Education programs.
- Managing the school's Physical Education budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet the needs of students and staff.
- Overseeing the planning and delivery of school events and activities, including sports days, parent-teacher meetings, and other community events.
- Developing and maintaining a culture of physical activity and healthy lifestyles within the school community.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure the school's Physical Education programs align with its overall vision and objectives.
- Managing and maintaining the school's Physical Education facilities and equipment, ensuring they are safe and well-maintained.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the school's Physical Education programs are safe, inclusive, and accessible to all students.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the school's Physical Education programs, making recommendations for improvement.
Eligibility
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Physical Education professional, preferably in a school or sports development setting.
- A postgraduate degree in a relevant field, such as Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related discipline.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience of working in a school or sports development setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, staff, parents, and the wider community.
- A proven track record of developing and implementing successful Physical Education programs, with a focus on promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
