Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and conduct daily chess coaching sessions for students of different age groups.
2. Identify talented players and provide focused training to prepare them for competitions.
3. Organize internal tournaments and inter-school events under Abhinav Global School banner.
4. Maintain records of player progress, attendance, and performance metrics.
5. Collaborate with school management to integrate chess into extracurricular calendars.
6. Supervise purchase and maintenance of chess equipment and boards for the school.
7. Coordinate with parents during selection trials and team announcements.
8. Represent Abhinav Global School at local chess meets and report outcomes to leadership.
9. Ensure safety and discipline during all coaching and tournament activities.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- Postgraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university
- Minimum 3 years of full-time experience in chess coaching or competitive play
- Knowledge of FIDE or AICF tournament rules and rating systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple student groups
Good to Have
- Certification in sports coaching or sports management
- Experience in organizing school-level or club-level tournaments
- Familiarity with Delhi-NCR school sports administration
Preferred Skills
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi
- Ability to motivate students and build a competitive mindset
- Organizational skills to handle logistics of equipment and events
- Basic computer skills for record keeping and communication
- Patience and adaptability to work with diverse age groups
Salary and Benefits
- Fixed monthly salary of Rs.15,000 to Rs.30,000 based on experience and qualifications
