Role Summary
Abhinav Global School is seeking a qualified Music Teacher to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching music to students from 1st to 5th standard. The position is for a full-time Music Teacher.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons to students from 1st to 5th standard.
- Prepare and conduct music activities, such as singing, playing instruments, and composing music.
- Use interactive learning methods, such as storytelling and demonstrations, to engage students.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a well-organized and safe music room.
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan interdisciplinary activities.
- Communicate with parents about student progress and upcoming music events.
- Develop and implement music curriculum that aligns with CBSE standards.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Music or related field (B.A. or B.Mus.).
- CTET certificate.
- B.Ed degree or D.El.Ed degree is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching music in a school setting.
Good to Have
- Master's degree in Music or related field (M.A. or M.Mus.).
- NET/SET in Music or related field.
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing curriculum and instructional requirements.
- Familiarity with music software and technology.
