Role Summary
Abhinav Global School in New Delhi, Delhi requires a dedicated PRT Social Science Teacher for our vibrant academic community. As a PRT Social Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging Social Science lessons to students from class 1 to 5. Your primary focus will be on developing foundational concepts, fostering a love for learning, and ensuring student participation in the classroom.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans for Social Science classes (1-5) that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Utilize interactive teaching methods, including storytelling, demonstrations, and activity-based learning to promote student engagement.
- Prepare and distribute worksheets, quizzes, and other assessment materials to evaluate student progress.
- Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and discipline techniques.
- Communicate regularly with parents through newsletters, parent-teacher meetings, and other platforms to keep them informed about their child's Social Science learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities that promote holistic learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessment results.
- Participate in school-wide activities, events, and professional development programs to enhance your teaching skills and contribute to the school's mission.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Social Science or allied subjects
- CTET certification (qualified or awaiting results)
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree (desirable)
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Social Science
- Proficiency in English and Hindi language (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multilingual environment
Salary and Benefits
