Job Overview
Abhinav Global School is looking for a dynamic Shooting Coach to join the team in New Delhi. The role involves leading shooting practice sessions, managing equipment, and ensuring students develop discipline and focus. Experience in sports coaching and school administration will be valued.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct daily shooting practice sessions for students aged 10 to 18.
2. Plan monthly training schedules aligned with inter-school competitions.
3. Maintain inventory of shooting equipment and coordinate repairs when needed.
4. Organize trial sessions for new students interested in the sport.
5. Collaborate with the sports department to prepare teams for zonal tournaments.
6. Report progress of each student to the school administration every fortnight.
7. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all training sessions.
8. Assist in organizing sports days and annual athletic meets at Abhinav Global School.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in shooting coaching or sports training.
Familiarity with handling air rifles, pistols, and basic range safety norms.
Knowledge of age-group training techniques and competition rules.
Ability to manage teams and communicate effectively with students and parents.
Preferred Skills
Experience working in a school sports environment.
Certification in sports coaching from recognized bodies.
Strong organizational skills to handle equipment and schedules.
Fluent in Hindi and English for clear instruction and reporting.
