What You Will Do
1. Plan and deliver Science lessons for Classes VI to VIII as per CBSE guidelines.
2. Prepare teaching aids and lab demonstrations for Physics, Chemistry and Biology topics.
3. Conduct periodic assessments and maintain student progress records.
4. Organize science fairs and related extracurricular activities.
5. Collaborate with subject teachers to align Science curriculum across grades.
6. Provide remedial support to students needing extra help in Science concepts.
7. Participate in staff meetings and school events on a regular basis.
8. Use simple, practical examples from daily life to explain scientific principles.
9. Keep classroom materials and lab equipment clean and ready for use.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
- Graduate degree in Science (B.Sc) with at least 50% marks
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification from a recognized institution
- Minimum three years of teaching experience in a school environment
- Working knowledge of Hindi and English for classroom instruction
- Residence in or near New Delhi for timely attendance
Good to Have
- CTET or TET qualification
- Experience with CBSE curriculum and evaluation patterns
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and smart classrooms
- Previous involvement in science exhibitions or Olympiads
- Understanding of local student backgrounds and needs
