When I first walked through the empty grounds of Model Town in North Delhi, I imagined a place where children from the neighbourhood could discover their own strengths without the pressure of endless rankings. That vision became Maxfort School, a modest building that now hums with the chatter of students from kindergarten to class XII, each day adding a new layer to the community we have built. Our purpose is simple: to give every child a solid grounding in the subjects they need while encouraging them to ask questions that matter to them.
We are a CBSE‑affiliated school, and that means we follow a curriculum designed to balance academic rigor with practical application. In our classrooms you will hear lessons in mathematics linked to everyday problems, science experiments that use the very streets of Model Town as a reference point, and language classes that draw on the rich linguistic tapestry of Delhi. We do not claim to be perfect, but we strive to keep the learning process transparent, so students understand not just the ‘what’ but the ‘why’ behind each concept.
Our families come from all walks of life—engineers, shop owners, teachers, and retirees—yet they share a common hope that their children will grow into responsible adults. To serve them, we keep our doors open for parental involvement, regular meetings, and a school library that stays open after hours for those who need extra time. The teachers we have chosen are people who have spent years in classrooms and understand the challenges of a rapidly changing world, yet they remain grounded in the basics of good teaching.
Looking ahead, I see Maxfort as a place where students finish each day with more confidence than they started, ready to tackle the next exam, the next project, or the next conversation at home. We are not trying to produce prodigies; we are trying to nurture thoughtful, capable individuals who can contribute to their families and to Delhi with honesty and effort. That is the promise we keep, day after day, in the heart of Model Town.
