Job Overview
As a Primary Teacher of English (PRT English Teacher) at Modern Public School, you will be responsible for teaching English to students from classes 1-5. Your primary duty will be to prepare and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students and help them develop a strong foundation in English.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and prepare engaging lesson plans for English classes
- Deliver lessons to students in a clear and effective manner
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Conduct regular parent-teacher meetings to keep parents informed about their child's progress
- Use a variety of teaching methods, including storytelling, interactive learning, and activity-based learning
- Prepare and distribute worksheets and other learning materials
- Maintain a well-organized and clean classroom environment
- Develop and implement classroom rules to promote good behavior and discipline
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement curriculum activities
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance teaching skills
Eligibility
- Postgraduate degree with a specialization in English (M.A. or M.Sc.)
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree
- CTET or TET is not mandatory, but preferred
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
