PRT Music Teacher Job in North West Delhi, Delhi | School Recruitment

The Mann School invites a dynamic educator to step into a PRT Music Teacher role with the potential to become Head of Department. Strategic responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive music syllabus aligned with national standards for classes I‑V.
- Conduct interactive classroom sessions that develop vocal, instrumental, and theoretical skills.
- Organize quarterly music festivals, inter‑school competitions, and cultural showcases in Delhi.
- Mentor and coach newly recruited music teachers, providing lesson plan reviews and classroom observations.
- Lead professional development workshops on innovative teaching methods and use of digital music tools.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to integrate music across the broader curriculum.
- Monitor student progress through assessments, maintain records, and report outcomes to parents.
- Manage the music department budget, procure instruments, and maintain equipment inventory.
- Participate in school committees to promote arts education and community outreach programs.
What you bring
A graduate degree with B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Music, and at least two years of teaching experience in a school setting. TET/CTET qualification is preferred. Demonstrated leadership in curriculum design, team mentorship, or extracurricular coordination will be valued. Strong communication skills in Hindi and English, coupled with a passion for nurturing young talent, are essential. Familiarity with Indian classical, folk, and contemporary music forms will enrich classroom delivery.
