Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons on Social Science to students in grades 6-8.
- Prepare and distribute teaching materials, including lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve academic performance.
- Develop and implement Social Science projects to enhance student engagement and motivation.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate Social Science with other subjects.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and address parental concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior.
- Participate in staff development programs to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures related to Social Science education.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Social Science or related field.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution.
- 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Good to Have
- CTET or TET certification.
- Experience teaching students with diverse learning needs.
- Knowledge of curriculum development and implementation.
- Familiarity with educational technology and tools.
