Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver the NCERT Science curriculum for middle and senior sections, ensuring concept clarity and practical exposure.
2. Conduct laboratory sessions, demonstrations and projects that align with the Science Teacher Recruitment in Delhi guidelines.
3. Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments and periodic assessments, providing timely feedback.
4. Organize science fairs, quiz competitions and field trips to reinforce classroom learning.
5. Collaborate with senior faculty to integrate interdisciplinary activities and support overall school TGT Science Teacher Opening initiatives.
6. Maintain classroom discipline, attendance records and update student progress reports regularly.
7. Participate in staff meetings, professional development programmes and contribute to curriculum improvement.
8. Mentor students for science Olympiads and other competitive examinations.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must hold a postgraduate degree in Science along with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. A minimum of two years of teaching experience in a recognized school is required. TET/CTET qualification is preferred and will be considered an advantage. The applicant should demonstrate proficiency in laboratory safety, use of digital teaching aids and ability to engage diverse learners.
Salary and Location
Salary: Rs.25,000 - Rs.50,000 per month. Location: Rohini, North West Delhi, Delhi at Delhi Heritage School.
