Day-to-Day Duties
1. Develop and implement effective career guidance programs for students, focusing on their strengths, interests, and aptitudes.
2. Conduct career assessments, aptitude tests, and vocational tests to help students identify suitable career options.
3. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to develop and implement career-related initiatives.
4. Provide personalized career counseling sessions to students, addressing their academic, professional, and personal aspirations.
5. Stay updated on various career-related resources, opportunities, and trends, sharing this information with students, parents, and teachers.
6. Organize seminars, workshops, and events to promote career awareness and exploration.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including employers, universities, and government agencies.
8. Contribute to the development of the school's career guidance policy and procedures.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, you should possess a postgraduate degree in a relevant field, such as career counseling, education, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed.) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) is also required. CTET certification is preferred. You should have at least 3 years of experience in career counseling or a related field.
