Role Summary
The Admission Counsellor plays a key role in growing Dps International’s student strength by managing enquiries, guiding parents, and coordinating with various departments. This position directly impacts the school’s reputation and revenue by ensuring smooth admissions every academic session. A strong network in Saket and South Delhi helps in reaching out to potential families.
Key Responsibilities
Guide parents through the admission process from initial enquiry to final enrollment with clear timelines.
Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, and registrations in the school’s CRM system.
Organize and attend school open houses, career fairs, and local community events in South Delhi.
Coordinate with the marketing team to create admission brochures, posters, and digital content.
Ensure all admission documents are verified and fees are collected as per Dps International policy.
Conduct home visits in Saket and nearby areas to understand family expectations and address concerns.
Prepare weekly reports on enquiry conversion rates for the principal and leadership team.
Train new staff on admission protocols and maintain a positive image of the school during interactions.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in any discipline with minimum three years of relevant experience.
Experience in school admissions, counselling, or front-office administration in Delhi NCR.
Familiarity with Delhi school admission norms and fee structures preferred.
Preferred Skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to handle diverse parent expectations.
Organizational ability to manage multiple tasks during peak admission seasons.
Leadership to guide junior staff and represent Dps International at public forums.
Local knowledge of Saket and South Delhi enhances outreach effectiveness.
What You Get
Rs.30,000 - Rs.60,000 per month based on experience and performance.
