About This Role
The Career Counsellor at Dps International plays a key role in guiding students toward informed academic and professional choices. This position shapes future pathways by aligning student aspirations with realistic opportunities. Close coordination with school leadership and parents ensures a cohesive support system for career development.
What You Will Do
Conduct individual and group counselling sessions for students in classes IX to XII.
Organize career fairs and university tie-ups in Saket, South Delhi.
Maintain updated databases on colleges, entrance exams, and scholarships.
Prepare students for interviews and profile-building activities.
Collaborate with teachers and coordinators to integrate career awareness in classrooms.
Provide parents with clear insights on higher education trends and options.
Monitor student progress through regular follow-ups and feedback.
Document counselling outcomes for institutional reporting and improvement.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
Postgraduate degree in Psychology, Education, or related field from a recognized university.
Minimum 3 years of experience in career counselling or student services.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Hindi.
Good to Have
Experience in school settings, preferably in South Delhi schools.
Familiarity with career platforms like Unacademy, Byju’s, or similar services.
Preferred Skills
Strong leadership to guide student groups and mentor peers.
Organizational ability to manage multiple events and schedules.
Persuasive communication to influence parents and students positively.
Basic data management skills using spreadsheets and CRM tools.
What You Get
Rs.30,000 - Rs.60,000 per month based on experience and qualifications.
