We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Dance Teacher to join our team at K.r Mangalam World School in Saket, South Delhi. As a Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for leading our school's dance programs and shaping the next generation of dance enthusiasts.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and execute dance performances and events for the school and community
- Develop and implement dance curriculum for students of various age groups
- Conduct workshops and masterclasses for students, teachers, and parents
- Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate dance into the school's overall arts program
- Manage the school's dance facilities and equipment
- Participate in school events and functions, such as concerts and festivals
- Supervise and mentor dance students, providing guidance and support
- Maintain accurate records and reports on dance program activities and student progress
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Dance or a related field (B.Ed/D.El.Ed not applicable for Dance Teacher role)
- 3 years of experience in dance teaching, administration, or leadership
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in dance program development, implementation, and evaluation
- Familiarity with Indian classical and contemporary dance styles
- Knowledge of dance history, theory, and criticism
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse cultural and socio-economic contexts
