Role Summary
Dps International is looking for a full-time Drummer to lead and manage the school’s percussion activities in South Delhi. The role is based in Saket and involves planning, organizing, and executing all drumming events and performances. You will work closely with the school leadership to integrate percussion into school ceremonies, assemblies, and cultural programs.

What You Will Do
Lead all school-wide drumming events including morning assemblies, national celebrations, and cultural fests. Ensure high-energy performances that align with the school’s ethos and standards.
Recruit, train, and mentor a team of 15-20 student drummers from classes VI to XII. Conduct regular skill assessments and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all percussion instruments including drums, cymbals, and mallets. Coordinate with the admin team for timely procurement and repairs.
Plan monthly drumming rehearsals and special programs in collaboration with the cultural coordinator. Ensure repertoire diversity and student participation across grades.
Organize inter-house drumming competitions and represent Dps International in inter-school events. Prepare teams and lead them to achieve competitive excellence.
Document student progress, attendance, and performance metrics in coordination with the assessment team. Prepare reports for senior management on program outcomes.
Liaise with external percussion trainers for workshops and masterclasses. Integrate new techniques and styles to enhance the school’s drumming curriculum.
Ensure safety protocols during all drumming activities. Supervise students during rehearsals and performances to prevent injuries and equipment damage.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. Minimum 3 years of experience in percussion leadership or drumming instruction in a school or community setting.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in managing student ensembles and organizing large-scale events. Familiarity with Indian classical, western, and fusion drumming styles is desirable.
