PRT Sanskrit Teacher Position at Amity International School, Saket
Amity International School in Saket, South Delhi, seeks a dedicated PRT Sanskrit Teacher to join their vibrant academic community. This role focuses on delivering engaging Sanskrit lessons aligned with modern educational standards while fostering cultural appreciation among students.
Core responsibilities include planning and conducting daily Sanskrit classes, covering grammar, literature, and Vedic studies. You will also assess students’ progress through practical assignments and oral evaluations. Ensuring classroom discipline and maintaining a respectful learning environment are essential. Collaborating with other teachers to integrate Sanskrit content across subjects is part of your role.
Secondary duties involve preparing lesson plans based on curriculum guidelines, organizing extracurricular activities like recitations and cultural events, and maintaining updated teaching resources. You may also assist in organizing parent-teacher interactions to discuss student performance in Sanskrit.
To qualify, you must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sanskrit or a related field. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory, with teaching experience in Sanskrit preferred. TET/CTET certification is not mandatory but highly recommended.
