Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and deliver science lessons for Classes 1 to 5 using simple experiments and activities. Prepare teaching aids like charts, models, and flashcards to explain scientific ideas clearly. Conduct regular practical sessions to make science concepts easy to understand.
Organize monthly science fairs or exhibitions where students can showcase their projects. Take students on nature walks or visits to nearby parks to observe plants and insects firsthand. Give feedback on student work and maintain records of their progress in science.
Coordinate with other PRT teachers to align science topics with school events and festivals. Attend staff meetings and contribute ideas to improve the science curriculum at Dev Samaj Modern School.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory for this PRT Science Teacher Vacancy in South Delhi. Prior teaching experience of at least 2 years in a primary school is required.
