You will design and implement science lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum, ensuring age-appropriate content delivery. Collaborate with the science faculty to refine teaching methods, assess student progress, and adjust strategies based on performance data.
Coordinate academic events such as science fairs, workshops, and inter-house competitions to boost participation and showcase scientific achievements. Maintain records of student performance, attendance, and progress reports to support parental and institutional reporting. Work closely with the principal to address academic challenges and propose improvements in science education delivery.
Plan and organize field trips, guest lectures, and lab visits to provide real-world applications of scientific concepts. Develop and update teaching resources, including worksheets, lab manuals, and digital learning materials. Ensure compliance with school policies on safety protocols during experiments and hands-on activities.
Review and evaluate student assessments to identify learning gaps and tailor support interventions. Represent the science department in meetings with parents, teachers, and administrative staff to discuss academic progress and future planning. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking in science.
The salary for this full-time position is Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month. A graduate degree in science or a related field is required, along with three years of teaching experience in science. Experience in academic coordination or curriculum development is a strong asset.
