Teaching responsibilities include designing engaging lesson plans that align with the latest CBSE syllabus, fostering interactive classroom discussions, and using practical experiments to reinforce theoretical concepts. You will also assess student progress through regular evaluations, encourage extracurricular science activities, and collaborate with the science department to enhance teaching methods. Mentoring students in science projects and competitions is also part of the role.
To qualify, hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Science (B.Sc/B.E/B.Tech). Two years of teaching experience in schools is preferred, though not mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory for this role, it will be an added advantage. A strong command of English and the ability to communicate complex scientific ideas simply are essential.
