4. Organize inter-house and inter-school theatre competitions, ensuring high standards of participation and presentation.
5. Collaborate with the arts department to integrate theatre into school events such as annual day, festivals, and assemblies.
6. Maintain and manage theatre props, costumes, and equipment, ensuring safety and availability for rehearsals.
7. Liaise with parents and external agencies for theatre-related events, performances, and collaborative projects.
8. Document and present progress reports on student participation, skill development, and event outcomes to school leadership.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory. Prior experience in theatre education or performing arts is preferred. Basic computer proficiency for documentation and communication is essential.
Preferred Skills
Experience in directing school plays or community theatre. Familiarity with script adaptation, stage lighting, and sound coordination. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to manage large groups and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
