PRT Dance Teacher Job in South East Delhi, Delhi | School Recruitment
About This Role
Dev Samaj Modern School uses smart boards in every classroom, digital attendance via biometric systems, and Google Classroom for assignments to keep lessons interactive. As a PRT Dance Teacher you will blend live studio movement with these tools to create memorable learning moments for Grades 1 to 5. Your lessons will appear on the school’s LMS so students can review choreography at home.
How You Will Teach
Lessons will be planned on Google Classroom with video links, music files, and practice drills uploaded weekly. Smart boards display rhythm patterns, counts, and YouTube tutorials during warm-ups. Blended learning means students practice basic steps in class and refine them at home through short recorded assignments.
Day-to-Day Duties
Prepare weekly lesson plans aligned to the school’s LMS and share them with the head of department by Sunday night.
Operate smart boards to project dance notation, music tracks, and slow-motion replays for skill breakdown.
Use Google Classroom to post warm-up videos, hand-outs, and self-assessment checklists for students.
Record student performances with a school tablet and upload them to the LMS for peer review.
Conduct biometric attendance at the start of each session and mark it digitally on the school portal.
Organize two blended-learning weeks per term where students learn folk and contemporary styles online and refine in class.
Collaborate with the art teacher to create cross-curricular dance-themed murals on corridor walls using digital design tools.
Attend monthly tech-training sessions to stay updated on new apps and LMS features relevant to dance pedagogy.
Required Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
Two years of classroom teaching experience in dance or movement.
Familiarity with smart boards, Google Classroom, and basic video editing tools.
Skills We Value
Strong digital literacy—comfortable troubleshooting audio sync issues on smart boards.
Experience using LMS platforms for storing videos, music, and student portfolios.
Ability to curate YouTube playlists for classical, folk, and contemporary dance tutorials.
