About This Role
The Housekeeping Supervisor at Shiv Vani M.s.s. School Dwarka leads a team responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the campus. This role ensures that classrooms, corridors, labs, and outdoor areas remain spotless and safe for students and staff. The supervisor acts as the point of contact between housekeeping staff and school administration.
What You Will Do
Oversee daily housekeeping operations and assign tasks to a team of 8–12 housekeeping staff.
Ensure all areas comply with hygiene protocols and safety norms set by the school.
Monitor supply levels of cleaning materials and coordinate with vendors for timely replenishment.
Conduct regular inspections of washrooms, labs, and common areas to maintain standards.
Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures and use of equipment.
Report maintenance issues related to cleanliness or infrastructure to the administration.
Maintain records of daily cleaning schedules and attendance of housekeeping staff.
Handle guest visits and special events by coordinating deep cleaning before and after events.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
Graduation from a recognized university.
Minimum 4 years of experience in housekeeping supervision in a school or large institution.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety practices.
Good to Have
Experience working in a school environment in South West Delhi.
Basic computer skills for record keeping and communication.
Skills We Value
Strong leadership to guide and motivate the housekeeping team.
Clear communication with staff, students, and parents regarding cleanliness concerns.
Problem-solving ability to address cleaning challenges promptly.
Time management to ensure all areas are cleaned within scheduled hours.
What You Get
Rs.30,000 – Rs.40,000 per month based on experience and performance.
