Job Overview
Shreeram World School is looking for a senior Hindi educator to lead the Hindi department for primary classes and guide the PRT Hindi Teacher team in Dwarka, South West Delhi. This role carries department-level responsibilities while remaining rooted in classroom teaching for grades 1 to 5. You will shape Hindi learning experiences, mentor junior teachers, and ensure strong foundational outcomes in Hindi language and literature.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement the Hindi curriculum for primary classes, aligning it with age-appropriate milestones and CBSE expectations. Curate monthly lesson plans, worksheets, and storytelling sessions that build listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Integrate local themes and seasonal festivals into Hindi activities to make language learning relatable for students in Dwarka.
Monitor classroom delivery by PRT Hindi Teachers, observe teaching methods, and provide real-time feedback to improve student engagement. Organize Hindi recitation competitions, language fairs, and book-reading drives that encourage peer learning and public speaking in Hindi. Maintain anecdotal records of each student’s Hindi progress to support personalized interventions.
Collaborate with the assessment team to set Hindi benchmarks and conduct term-end evaluations that reflect genuine language growth. Work closely with parents during PTMs to explain Hindi progress and suggest home-based reinforcement through simple reading and conversation. Address common challenges like regional language interference or hesitation in speaking Hindi confidently.
Train junior PRT Hindi Teachers on classroom management, activity-based learning, and the use of visual aids for Hindi vocabulary building. Lead department meetings every fortnight to share best practices and review upcoming Hindi events at Shreeram World School. Ensure textbooks, supplementary readers, and digital resources are updated and accessible to all primary classrooms.
Who Can Apply
Postgraduate in Hindi with a minimum of five years of teaching experience in Hindi at the primary level. B.Ed in Hindi or equivalent is mandatory; NET or SET qualified candidates will receive preference.
