Role Summary
A well-qualified Punjabi PRT is required to teach at Vishwa Bharti Public School in Dwarka, South West Delhi, Delhi. The successful candidate will teach Punjabi to students from 1st to 5th standard and contribute to creating a vibrant Punjabi language learning environment.
How You Will Teach
The PRT Punjabi Teacher will use a variety of practical methods to teach Punjabi, including storytelling, interactive learning activities, and demonstrations. The teacher will use Punjabi language and literature to engage students and promote language skills. The PRT will plan and conduct Punjabi language lessons, using a range of resources, including textbooks, worksheets, and visual aids.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and conduct Punjabi language lessons for students from 1st to 5th standard.
- Use Punjabi language and literature to engage students and promote language skills.
- Conduct interactive learning activities, including storytelling, role-playing, and demonstrations.
- Prepare and distribute Punjabi language worksheets and assignments.
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress.
- Collaborate with other PRTs to develop and implement cross-curricular projects.
- Participate in school events and activities, including Punjabi language festivals and competitions.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss student progress.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote Punjabi language learning and cultural awareness.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.
Who Can Apply
Candidates should hold a postgraduate degree in Punjabi language and literature (M.A. or M.Sc. or M.Ed with Punjabi as a special subject) and a B.Ed degree. A TET or CTET qualification is not mandatory for this position. However, the candidate should have a strong background in Punjabi language and literature.
