Job Description
PRT Social Science Teacher Responsibilities
Teach Social Science subjects, including history, geography, and civics, to students in Class 1 to 5 at Delhi English Academy. Prepare engaging lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum to ensure age-appropriate learning.
Deliver structured classroom instruction, using visual aids and interactive methods to maintain student engagement. Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback on their understanding of key concepts.
Assist in organizing classroom activities, group discussions, and project-based learning to reinforce social science concepts effectively.
Eligibility and Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree as per the NCTE guidelines. Possess a valid TET/CTET certificate preferred but not mandatory.
Two years of teaching experience at the elementary level is essential. Familiarity with Delhi’s educational standards and CBSE syllabus is beneficial.
Employment and Compensation Details
Employment is offered full-time at Delhi English Academy in Dwarka, South West Delhi. The monthly salary ranges from Rs.12,000 to Rs.24,000, depending on qualifications and performance.
The role focuses solely on Social Science teaching within the specified class range. No additional administrative or extracurricular duties are assigned.
